This newsletter contains brief information regarding our next auctions.

Asian Art: 6 - 7 October

The online catalogue with all lots of our upcoming auction is now available. With approx. 950 lots, this will again be the largest Asian Art auction in the Netherlands this year. As always, we offer a wide variety of lots. Various pieces are of museum quality, such as the Kangxi period garniture shown here. The garniture comes from the collection of Marc de Beauvau, Prince de Craon. In addition, we will auction a large collection of netsuke.

You are most welcome at our viewing days:
– Friday 2 October: 10 AM – 5 PM
– Saturday 3 October: 10 AM – 5 PM
– Monday 5 October: 10 AM – 5 PM

Since 1 January 2020 we are located at Kleverskerkseweg 53c in Middelburg.

Indonesian Art: 17 November

This upcoming Indonesian Art auction will once again contain high-quality objects. An example is the work of Willem Gerard Hofker (1902 – 1981) which is shown here.

Furthermore, we will auction masterpieces by Bonnet, Dooijewaard, Strasser, Sonnega, Locatelli (!) and Adolfs.

Not only Indo-European artists are well represented, but also students from Bonnet, such as I Made Sukada and Ida Bagus Made Poleng.

Submitting lots for this auction is possible until the beginning of October.

Art & Antiques: 18 November

As part of our Art & Antiques auction, we will auction the Gabriëlse Collection. This is a very broad collection, containing a diversity of lots ranging from archeology to modern art.

The other part of our auction also contains a wide range of art and antiques. Of course, we also offer various works by M.C. Escher, one of our specialties.
